Timeline
- Sharath Guruji’s teaching season announcement date : 15 Jul 2024, Mon
- OTP’s sent to authorised/certified teachers: by 2nd Aug 2024, Fri 6:30 PM IST
- Online recommendations form to be filled by authorised/certified teachers: available from 2nd to 5th Aug 2024 6:30 PM IST (for 4 days)
- Online registration to study with Sharath Guruji: 4th Aug 2024, Sun. Open for 12hrs, please refer to the timings given below
- Confirmation emails to be sent to the students by: 11th Aug 2024
- First batch of in-person registration dates at SYC Mysuru: 28, 29, 30 Nov 2024 (refer to timings below)
Important – Students kindly do not crash the website by trying to apply together at the same time when the registration window period opens. Kindly refer to timings given below as per your timezone and apply at your convenient time of the day so the website traffic is spread out. Selection is not on first come first serve basis. Everyone gets a chance to apply, then selection is done by software after randomising the applications – for details please – Read here

You may opt to apply for multiple batches based on your availability and preference, but you may receive confirmation for only any one. Please choose the batches carefully and only the ones you’re sure to come if confirmed by the Shala. Changes are not allowed.
- Example 1, if you wish to come for two months Dec-Jan, then tick Dec-Jan.
- Example 2, if you are okay with any duration and are available from Dec to Feb, then tick both options Dec-Jan and Feb.
- Example 3, if you are coming with a small child below 10 yrs age and want to come only for one month, then tick that one month. if you are okay to come for any one month, then tick all the one month options.
We shall try our best to accomodate the students within these options and send confirmation for only any one of the selected batches.
Regarding online recommendations:
- New students applying to study with Sharath Guruji must get online recommendations. Request your SYC authorised/certified teacher(s) to submit online recommendation for you. Share your details with them – Read more
- Students who have studied with Sharath Guruji at Mysuru before must mention the respective study periods clearly in the application. Their teacher’s recommendation is not mandatory for them.
- The authorised/certified SYC teachers are exempted from recommendations.
Please apply only if you are sure that you will be able to come if confirmed and enrolled by the Shala.

Cancellations are not allowed, duplicate and incomplete applications will be rejected.
Extension or change of study period will not be granted. Students must not apply for extension of visa. Documents to support such applications will not be provided by the Shala.
If due to any genuine reason you cannot come for the study period for which you’ve received confirmation email, kindly send an email to shala@sharathyogacentre.com. Inform the Shala at the earliest so we can accommodate students from the waiting list.
The link to the student recommendation form and OTP shall been sent on 2nd Aug 2024 to all the SYC authorised/certified teachers via email. If you are an authorised/certified teacher and have not received the OTP, kindly check your inbox and spam folder, and lastly write to Shala, we will check and revert back.
